Plentiful breakfast and clean pool with a bar that serves drinks and snacks. Easy walk to downtown. Free parking on the hotel premises was a plus.
The rooms are poorly designed and cramped with very little space to move around. the bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were too soft.

The breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options. The pool and the surrounding area were well-maintained and provided great opportunities for relaxation. the location was convenient, being just a short walk away from the main attractions.
There were no major issues with the hotel or its amenities during our stay. However, the shower and toilet facilities had some minor differences from what we were used to in other European hotels.

We found a decent place to cause havoc here. It is situated in a beautiful location among the mountains and a 10 minute walk to the town center where there is a lot of noise and fun. the room we stayed in was small and cramped with a tiny bathroom and claustrophobic shower. the breakfast we had served was tasteless, and there were no options to choose from. It is worth appreciating the pool bar and the cocktails served there. They were good enough to make us want to tip the staff and enjoy them again. But, the availability of drinks at the pool was a bit scarce.
The room service was not up to the mark.

The hotel's location was perfect, close to the beach and amenities, offering easy access to the buzz of the town whenever we wanted. Additionally, the well-maintained pool area with a pool bar was a lovely spot to enjoy cocktails prepared with finesse by the friendly and helpful staff. Maria, the owner, had great restaurant recommendations, making our stay even more enjoyable.
No complaints at all.

What a gem of a find! This hotel truly exceeded our expectations. the attention to detail was incredible - the whole place was spotlessly clean inside and out. Secondly, the location was perfect - nestled among the beautiful Cretian mountains, yet just a short stroll away from Matala center. And finally, the staff were exceptional - so friendly and welcoming, they made us feel right at home. The basic amenities were top-notch, from the comfortable rooms to the refreshing drinks at the poolside bar. And let's not forget about the breakfast - it was plentiful, varied, and made with locally-sourced produce. We couldn't have asked for more!
No complaints whatsoever - everything was simply perfect.
